Stand Up Against Bullying at River Bend
Here at River Bend we believe in a proactive approach to bullying prevention and awareness. Students receive bullying awareness lessons through their resource classes. Each school counselor presents a number of lessons about bullying prevention, mistreatment, cyberbullying, and sexual harassment. Students also receive Second Step Lessons about Bullying & Mistreatment during Advisory. We believe in giving students strategies to use in the event that bullying does take place, as well as identifying 2 trusted adults in the building they can go talk to.
Please report bullying incidents to your grade level dean, counselors, and/or administration by email or call the school at 571-434-3220.
