Ms. Chavez, Patricia
Welcome! My name is Patti Chavez. I began teaching in Loudoun County in 2001 with the Head Start Program. I moved to Forest Grove six years ago as an EL teacher. I have had the pleasure of working with kindergarten, first grade and second grade. I will be with the Kindergarten team, again, for the 2019-2020 school year. I look forawrd to getting to know the students and helping them grow as learners! I hope the the children will develop a love of learning as they begin their elementary school experience!
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Maryland. I, later, earned my ELL endorsement and Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University.
I am looking forward to an exciting school year here at Forest Grove!
