Welcome

          Welcome to 4th grade and our class!  I grew up in Buffalo, NY, got a degree in Elementary Education and a masters in Counseling.  I began my teaching career in the City of Buffalo as a 3rd and 5th grade teacher for 8 years.  In 2006, I moved to Virginia and taught in Fairfax for 2 years and then decided to stay home with my girls for a few years. When both my daughters were at Algonkian, I became a TA for 3 years and then realized I wanted to be back in the classroom as a teacher.  I have been teaching 4th grade for the past 4 years and I absolutely love it!  I am beyond excited to create our new family with our 4th grade this year!
