• WHAT IS A FAMILY LIAISON?
     
    A Family Liaison is an LCPS employee, whose role is to act as a team with school staff and be an advocate for our families. By doing this, we promote open communication and provide access to resources in our community. Helping families get the resources they need supports the academic and social success of our students!

     MISSION OF THE PARENT LIAISON
     
    Current research emphasizes the importance of parent involvement in promoting school success. Today’s families constantly deal with stress that impacts students’ abilities to participate in academic and extra-curricular school activities. If schools are to do an effective job of educating their increasingly diverse populations of students, they must find ways to communicate and build more cooperative working relationships with parents.
