Attendance

It is a simple equation: classroom time equals valuable opportunities for instruction, participation, engaging conversation, and learning. Your presence is required for all of these things. While I have procedures in place to accommodate your needs if you are absent, a certain magic to our collective educational experience will be lost when you are not in class with your peers. Please make every effort to be present, in both body and spirit, every day.

Absence Procedures

If you are absent, I highly reccomend utilizing Schoology to keep up with the daily agendas and assignments. Keeping up with the class to the best of your ability, even when absent, is the best path to success. 

While we are in the Distance Learning model, you are able to access everything your classmates can, so due dates will remain the same. When submitting any work assigned or collected when you were absent, you must fill the Late Work Submission Form. I will not know that it has been submitted and to update the gradebook otherwise because there are too many pages to monitor for individual submissions.
