Mrs. de Steuben

 Mrs. de Steuben (formerly Ms. Maxfield) grew up in Loudoun County and attended Woodgrove High School. She studied at Christopher Newport University, graduating with a Bachelor's of Arts in History. She also received her Master's in Elementary Education there as well. This will be her seventh year as an LCPS teacher and her sixth year at Mountain View Elementary in 3rd grade! Mrs. de Steuben loves working in the area she grew up in. When Mrs. de Steuben is not in the classroom, she is either reading about history, teaching swim skills, binging a Netflix show, or hiking in the Blue Ridge mountains with her husband.
