    • All assignments, including tests, not turned in on time are zeros until turned in, even if you are absent.  It is your responsibility to keep track of your own grade

     

    • If you are absent from class, it is your responsibility to make up all missed work, tests, quizzes and notes.  All missed assignments are on the side of the classroom in the folder marked WHI/ WHII/ US or in Schoology 

     

    • Social Studies Department Late Work Practice:
    • Classroom Assessments: (tests)
      • All assessments given in class must be submitted according to teacher expectations.  If a student is absent on the day of an assessment the student should contact the teacher to establish a time to complete the assessment (for full credit).

     

    • Out-of-Class Work: (Projects)
      • If a student does not submit out-of-class work on time, the student can submit the assignment within 2 weeks for a maximum grade of 80% with a floor of 50%.  The student will not be eligible to retake any out-of-class work that is submitted late. 

     

    • All assessments must be submitted by the final day of the grading period.

     

    • Retake Policy: students must initiate retakes
      • Students can only get max of an 80%
      • Students must have all minor summative and formative assignments complete to be eligible to retake an assessment
      • only 1 retake is allowed
      • Retakes must be done within 10 day of when summative is returned. 
      • Must be before the end of the quarters

     

    • If you miss a test, you have until the next test to make it up, if it is not made up by then, you will be given an alternate form of the test to make up a test see me to get a pass
