    Biography

    Mrs. Koscinski taught for 22 years in health, physical education and driver education. Mrs. Koscinski served as a department chair at Park View and Freedom High Schools. She has her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from Springfield College in Massachusetts and her Masters of Science in Health Education from SUNY College at Brockport in New York. She completed her certification in Educational Administration at the George Washington University.

    In her teaching career she has been able to work with students in a variety of ways She has coached Girls Varsity Volleyball and Girls Varsity Lacrosse teams, JV girls basketball, and served as an SCA advisor and then a senior class sponsor.  Mrs. Koscinski is passionate about working with teen drivers. In her role as a driver education teacher she was able to work extensively with the Department of Education in revising and creating new driver education materials and sharing the curriculum with teachers all over the Commonwealth. As part of this experience she was able to serve as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at NVCC for teacher endorsement.

    She has also been able to train over a hundred teachers to be CPR/AED and First Instructors to provide building-level support to train all licensed staff to meet the Relicensure CPR requirement.

    Now in her role as Assistant Principal, Mrs. Koscinski is excited to work with teachers from all content areas to provide instructional support that will directly impact the success of our students.  She oversees the Special Education and Math departments. She works with the freshmen class, homebound students, FELT and serves as the primary Special Education designee.
