Mr. Ryan Rowles

    Mr. Rowles is a graduate of Shenandoah Conservatory and is excited to be part of the staff at Dominion High School. He joins us from Virginia Beach, Virginia where he was the band director of Ocean Lakes High School. Under his direction, the band received consistent superior ratings in both marching and concert assessment and was recognized as a Virginia Honor Band for two consecutive years. Mr. Rowles is also a frequent clinician at multiple summer band programs across Loudoun County including the Potomac Falls Summer Band Academy and the John Champe Summer Band Camp. His main instruments are clarinet and french horn. 
    During his time at Shenandoah Conservatory, Mr. Rowles was a collegiate member of the Nu Psi Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, an all-male music fraternity dedicated to service and the advancement of music in America. He is also an active member of the National Association for Music Education, has served as the Instrumental Representative in the collegiate chapter at Shenandoah, and actively attends the annual Virginia Music Educators Association Conference.
    In his free time, Mr. Rowles enjoys outdoor activities including snowboarding, hiking, tubing, kayaking, and playing with his dog Milli!
