Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Williams

Welcome to Mrs. Williams' Language Arts Class!
My name is Rebecca Williams.  This is my twenty-second year teaching and my seventh year at Stone Hill.  Previously I taught fifth grade for eight years at Mill Run.  This is my seventeenth year in Loudoun County.  I began my career in Fairfax County.  I am a native Washingtonian.  I completed my undergrad work at the University of Virginia (Go Wahoos!) and my graduate work at George Washington University.  My family includes my husband, Rodney (a Hokie!), my daughters, Devin and Jordan, and my son, Perry.  Perry is a senior at Briar Woods. Go Falcons!  Jordan just started her third year at UVA!  Devin graduated from Wake Forest University (Go Deacs!) and is working for NBC Sports in New York!  When I am not teaching, I enjoy being with my family, reading, watching movies, running, and playing with our dog Bradley.  I also love history, jazz, learning foreign languages, and baking (and eating) sweets!  I am thrilled to be a part of the Stone Hill family.  Teaching writing and reading is my passion.  My goal is to make learning relevant and fun.  I am looking forward to a great year!
