Speech Therapy - Marie Kazmierczak

My name is Marie Kazmierczak (Mrs. K).  I'm excited to be the full time speech therapist at Sugarland again this year.  While I am originally from Michigan, I have been living in Sterling, Virginia for many years.  My husband Art and I have three daughters: Jillian, Brooke and Jacqueline.  Three other important members of our family are our dachshund Pepper and our cats Rosie and Luna.

In 1989 and 1990, I received my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Speech Language Pathology from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  I started my career working with adults in hospitals, rehabilitation units and skilled nursing facilities.  After having my girls and moving to Virginia, I became a stay at home mom for several years.  In 2006, I started working for Loudoun County Public Schools.  I have worked with many different elementary and preschool students since that time and I look forward to working with the students of Sugarland again this year!

Physical Therapy - Katie Labuda

Dr. Katie has lived all up and down the east coast.  She attended the University of Rhode Island for her undergraduate degree, holds a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Boston University and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University.  This is Dr. Katie's eighth year in Loudoun County and eleventh year working in the school system.  In her free time, she enjoys working out and spending time with friends and family.
