Kevin Heenan

Mr. Heenan has been working in Loudoun County for 15 years. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration in 2004 from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA.  He then earned his Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University in 2009. From 2009 to 2012 he taught 3rd Grade at Little River Elementary School in South Riding. From 2012 to 2017 he taught Math at Smart's Mill Middle School. From 2017 to 2019 he was the IFT at Frederick Douglass Elementary School. Prior to becoming a licensed teacher, Mr. Heenan worked as a substitute teacher and special education teaching assistant in Loudoun County Public Schools. Before coming to Loudoun he was a Financial Advisor.  Mr. Heenan's wife is an EL teacher at Leesburg Elementary School and they have three children: Emily (11), Maggie (9) and Finn (5). He is an avid Philadelphia sports fan, home of the SUPER BOWL CHAMPION PHILADELPHIA EAGLES! He also enjoys running and cooking.  He is really looking forward to another fantastic year. GO EAGLES!!
