Hello Brambleton Bears!

I am Mr. Haynie your 6^th Grade Dean!  I am so excited to welcome all our new Brambleton Bears!!

This is my 22nd year in education.  Before coming to Brambleton I was the Elementary Dean at Pinebrook ES for 2 years.  Prior to Loudoun I spent 17 years in 2^nd, 5^th, and 6^th grades, as well as an Assistant Principal in Fairfax County.  

I was born outside Philadelphia and moved to Virginia when I was younger.  I am a graduate of Herndon High School and went on to graduate from West Chester University(Go Rams) with a B.S. in Elementary Education.  I graduated from George Mason University with a Masters in Educational Leadership.  I was also a swim coach for 23 years until taking time off to watch and coach my own kids sports.  I am currently the Varsity Assistant Softball Coach at Heritage High School, Go Pride! 

When I am not at school, I am spending time with my wife, 2 kids, and 3 dogs!  I am an avid sports fan and follow all Philadelphia teams, especially Eagles!  I am a huge movie buff.  It's not hard to figure out my favorite movie when you walk into my office!    

I am looking forward to a fantastic year at Brambleton as we support our wonderful students in their efforts to achieve personal goals, dreams, and aspirations!
