Alumni SwimmersDamon Rosenburg ('11) - While at Heritage High School, Damon was a three year varsity letter winner, setting two individual and one team relay record. He was a two-time Cedar Run District and Northwest Region Champion in the 100 breaststroke ('10, '11). In the 2010 VHSL AAA State Championships, Damon placed 9th in the 100 breaststroke. In the 2011 VHSL State Championships, Damon placed 5th in the 100 breaststroke. In 2010-2011 Damon was a member of the USA Swimming Scholastic All America Team and also received All-America Consideration in the 100 breaststroke.
Damon also attended the LCPS Academy of Science and was a member of the National Honor Society and National Spanish Honor Society.
Damon is studying Computer Science at Denison University in Granville, OH and continues his swimming career with the Denison Big Red, the 2011 NCAA Division III Men's National Champions. Danny is at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA and continues his swimming career with the Drexel Dragons. He was a three-time Dulles District Champion in the 100 fly ('03, '05, '06) and two-time Dulles District Champion in the 100 breaststroke ('05, '06). In the 2005 VHSL A/AA State Championships, Bryan placed 2nd in the 100 breaststroke and 4th in the 100 fly. In the 2006 VHSL A/AA State Championships, Bryan placed 3rd in the 100 fly and was State Champion in the 100 breaststroke.
While at Heritage, Bryan was a member of the National Honor Society, Twelve, All-County Chorus and All-District Chorus.
Bryan continuned his swimming career at the collegiate level, swimming five years for the Duke Blue Devils. While at Duke University, Bryan was the first recruiting class of the new Blue Devils Head Coach Dan Collela and in his five years there led the men's team from 9th in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) to 5th in Bryan's senior year. At the ACC Championships during his senior year, Bryan placed 19th in the 100 breaststroke with a best time of 55.98 and 15th in the 200 breaststroke with a best time of 2:01.44. Bryan graduated in May, 2011 with a degree in Cultural Anthropology.
