Hello and welcome to fifth grade! My name is Ms. Christovich and I am so excited to work with you this school year as one of your fifth grade teachers. I know this year will be filled with so many learning and engaging adventures for all of us.

I attended James Madison University for my undergraduate career and completed one graduate program there. I received my Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Math, Science, and Technology and minors in Elementary Education and Exceptional Education. I received my Master's of Art in Teaching in Elementary Education, pre-k-6th, in 2017. This summer in 2021, I graduated from Columbia College with my Master's of Education degree in Trauma-Informed Education.

In my free time, I love spending time outside, spending time with my family and friends, and reading a good book! I love watching sports, especially ice hockey and football. I cheer for the Washington Capitals and the Cleveland Browns, where my older brother works!

This will be my fifth year teaching fifth grade at Sterling Elementary! I love the community of our school and working alongside everyone for our young scholars. I am so excited for another great year! I am excited to be coteaching alongside Ms. Park. This will be our third year coteaching together.

    Meet Ms. Park!

Please know that you can always contact me for updates on your child or any questions that you might have. We will send weekly updates so you know what your student is focusing on each week as well as events going on at school. You can leave me a message with the school at (571) 434-4580, email me at Katharine.christovich@lcps.org, or send a message on ClassDojo. I am so excited for what I know will be a fantastic school year in room 123!
