• Heritage High School Boys Soccer Coaching Staff
    Varsity Head Coach:  Betsy Munson
    Previously coached at Clarke County High School. Led the team to four consecutive state final appearances.  State runner-up 2003, 2004.  State Champions 2005, 2006.  State Coach of the Year 2003, 2006.  Regional Coach of the Year 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006.

    Heritage coaching highlights:

    ·         Won Dulles District in 2008 for the first time in school history (debut season).

    ·         2 Regional appearances---2008 and 2010.

    ·         9 Seniors from Heritage have played in the VHSL All-Star Game since 2008

    Coach Munson began coaching the Varsity Boys Soccer team at Heritage High School in the Spring of 2008.

    Varsity Assistant Coach:  Adam Baumgardner

    Goalkeeper Coach:  Bradley Martin
    Coach Martin has played soccer the majority of his life and at all levels.  In 2002, he was honored as the 1st team all-district goalkeeper, averaging 8 saves per game and only having 3 goals against during the season for Franklin County High school.  He played both field and goalkeeper for 2 seasons with Emory and Henry College.  His past coaching experience includes a youth travel team as well as the middle school boys’ team at Benjamin Franklin Middle School.  His record as a coach was 23 wins and 3 loses.
    Coach Martin joined the Boys Soccer program at Heritage High School in the Spring of 2012.

    JV Head Coach:  Amy Anderson
    Coach Anderson has been part of the Heritage High School Boys Soccer program since the Spring of 2008.  She has also coached youth players in Boston, MA through the New England S.C.O.R.E.S. program and as a private trainer in Blacksburg, VA.

    Coach Anderson grew up in the Fredericksburg/Spotsylvania area where she attended Chancellor High School.  As a four year Varsity starter and a member of a W.A.G.S. premier club team, she received varied honors such as being named to All-District, All-Area, and All-Region teams as a defensive player, in the sweeper position.  She also played two years in the Virginia Olympic Development Program (ODP).

    Coach Anderson graduated from Virginia Tech in 2003 with a B.A. in Public and Urban Affairs.  She is a huge HOKIE fan!!!   When not working or coaching, she can be found on the field herself, traveling, volunteering, or spending time with family and friends.
