• Rising 9th Grade Course Selection Information
     
    On February 12, 2024 the Heritage High School Counseling Department will be at Harper Park and will meet with the entire 8th grade to explain courses and options for Rising 9th Graders.  They will then visit with smaller groups in Resources classes to give more detail and help them make selections. 
     
     
     
    Parents and students can make ELECTIVE changes via Student/ParentVUE: February 8-March 1, 2024

    IMPORTANT DATES:
    • February 8-March 1, 2024: Students and parents will be able to view Course Recommendations in Student/ParentVUE. Students/Parents can make changes to ELECTIVES ONLY. If a core course change is desired, parents MUST contact that teacher directly, parents of Special Education students are also encouraged to contact the Case Manager with concerns/questions as well. Once an agreement is reached, parent/teacher/case manager can contact Eric Demorest (for General Education students) or Ashley Harper (for Special Education students) to make the change. Students and parents will be able to make changes to electives in Student/ParentVUE until March 1, 2024. After that date, all changes (even for electives) will need to go through Mr. Demorest or Mrs. Harper.
    • February 12 and 13 High school counselors will work with 8th graders during Resource/Spectrum classes to help them choose electives for 9th grade. Students will have until March 1, 2024 to make changes in Student/ParentVUE to electives.
