    Standard Projects:

    Marshall House-

assisting gardener, spring cleanup, mulching gardens, and helping with new projects TBD in the spring. Recommend a group of 2-3 people.

    Loudoun County Parks and Rec.-

assist with end of year preschool parties, graduations, and field days. As well as packing up rooms and preparing them for summer camp. No group size mentioned.

HSLC - Redesign of one or more HSLC brochures:  HSLC will provide copies older brochures in need of redesign along with any new requirements and/or suggested ideas.  The volunteer would come up with ideas and create a new brochure design (or perhaps a template that can be reused for multiple purposes) in MS Word format.

Marketing development:  HSLC is interested in new ideas for advertising lost/found pets as well as marketing the animals we have up for adoption.  The student would propose ideas for getting the word out to the community about the animals and, ideally, help with implementation.  Photography of the animals would be a big help here.

Videographer:  HSLC would like to create videos about some of our programs, especially for Trap/Neuter/Release (TNR).  The student would create one or more videos about these programs to be posted on HSLC’s social media sites.

Web page/site construction:  HSLC is currently working with an outside company to construct a new website.  At the time the new website is launched, there will be several pages designated as “under construction”.  The student would assist with the content build of those pages, and potentially with the improvement of existing pages.
