Welcome to Mrs. Dennen's Webpage!

My name is Maura Dennen, and this is my 14th year in education. I am delighted to begin my sixth year as a gifted resource teacher for LCPS.  I have a Master of Arts degree in Education and an endorsement in Gifted Education.  I have also previously taught in Charlottesville, Virginia and Wilton, Connecticut.

My family and I have resided in Loudoun County for quite some time now and we love the area.  I'm passionate about teaching and I am very pleased to be able to work with local children to help develop young thinkers in the county in which I live. 

When not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.  My husband and I have 3 wonderful children who keep us very busy with all of their sports and activities.  On the weekend, you will often find me at the athletic fields cheering them on!  I enjoy getting outdoors: hiking, gardening, walking my dog.  I also enjoy traveling, reading and love going to the beach!  

I look forward to working with our talented students and faculty this year, while I help to challenge the young minds of our students.
