Ms. Jessee

Hello! My name is Roxanne Jessee and I am one of the EL (English Learner) teachers here at Forest Grove Elementary School. This year I am excited to announce I will be working with primarily 2nd grade students!

This is my 6th year at Forest Grove! In previous years, I was the EL teacher for 1st grade. I was born and raised in Sterling, VA, and attended Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) grades K-12.  I have a B.A. degree in Government and International Politics with a minor in Spanish from George Mason University (GMU). While in school, I studied abroad in Southern Spain, which was an amazing experience! Additionally, I taught English in a small village in Costa Rica for 6 months. I loved it! In 2013, I went back to school and obtained my Masters Degree in Education, concentrating in English as a Second Language (ESL), which was also from George Mason University. Go Patriots!

I am looking forward to start the new school year with our returning and new Falcons!
