•     Hello!  My name is Kameron Peterson and I am excited to be in my third year as the School Counselor at Mountain View Elementary!  I am available Monday through Friday to work with all students and I will be teaching school counseling lessons for third through fifth grades.  Mrs. Dominique, the returning part-time school counselor,  is at MTV on Tuesdays.  She will be working with kindergarten and some first grade classes.  Mrs. Dominique will also be teaching school counseling lessons for kindergarten and some first grade classes. Please help me welcome Mrs. Siker to Mountain View!  She will teaching some first grade classes and all of the second grade school counseling lessons.  Mrs. Siker is here on Wednesdays.

I attended Michigan State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and a certification in teaching. I taught high school science for four years. In 1997, I earned a Master’s Degree in Education with a School Counselor certification from the University of Dayton. I worked as a counselor for six years in Ohio before moving to Virginia. I have been married to my husband, Mark, for 22 years and we have four children ages 12 to 19.

I am excited to be here to partner with parents and staff to help your student be successful in school and in the community.  I look forward to getting to know you, your family and most importantly your child.  Please feel free to contact me during school business hours: 540.751.2550 or at kameron.peterson@lcps.org
