Mrs. Caine

Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Beth Caine. I have been a member of the Dominion Trail family for many years as a Husky parent, a substitute teacher, a PALS Tutor (early intervention literacy program), and a Kindergarten teacher. I am so excited about teaching our littlest Huskies again this year!

I earned my BS in Elementary and Kindergarten Education from Penn State. I taught both Kindergarten and First Grade for nearly a decade prior to taking time off to raise my three daughters. In order to stay current in the education field, I have taken graduate courses through UVA, VA Tech, and the University of Phoenix.

I was born in Pittsburgh and am a huge Steelers and Penguins fan, much to the dismay of my husband, a huge Washington sports fan. However, we both agree on the value of spending quality time with our girls: Emily, Allison, and Erin.

Building a positive and safe classroom environment, I hope to instill in your students positive attitudes about learning that they will carry with them throughout life. I am looking forward to facilitating your child’s cognitive, social, and emotional development.

Go Huskies!
