Mrs. Caine

Welcome to Kindergarten! My name is Beth Caine. I have been a member of the Dominion Trail family for many years as a Husky parent, a substitute teacher, a PALS Tutor (early intervention literacy program), and a Kindergarten teacher. I am so excited to be teaching our littlest Huskies again this year!

I earned my BS in Elementary and Kindergarten Education from Penn State. I taught both Kindergarten and First Grade for nearly a decade prior to taking time off to raise my three daughters. In order to stay current in the education field, I have taken graduate courses through UVA, VA Tech, and the University of Phoenix.

I was born in Pittsburgh and am a huge Steelers and Penguins fan much to the dismay of my husband, a huge Washington sports fan. However, we both agree on the value of spending quality time with our girls: Emily, Allison, and Erin.

Building a positive and safe classroom environment, I hope to instill in your child positive attitudes about learning that they will carry with them throughout life. I am looking forward to facilitating your child’s cognitive, social, and emotional development.

Go Huskies!

Mrs. Regiec

Hello and welcome to DTES! My name is Janet Regiec (Reg-its), and it is my pleasure to be assisting your student in Mrs. Caine’s kindergarten class.
I have been part of the Dominion Trail “family” since 2001 when my eldest daughter, Lauren, began her education in kindergarten. My second daughter, Jillian, joined the DTE “family” two years later. After working as a hostess in the cafeteria in 2004, I substituted and then became a special education teacher assistant at DTES from 2007 to 2019. Making memories in kindergarten began in the 2019/20 school year. I am a “Jersey” girl and moved to NOVA with my husband, Tom, and daughter, Lauren in 1997. Jillian moved in with us but didn’t make her appearance until July! Lauren graduated from West Virginia University in 2018 and Jillian graduated virtually from Virginia Tech in May 2020. Tucker is our little fur baby dog and his favorite thing to do is to cuddle! I enjoy reading, crafting, gardening, music, movies and sitting on my front porch chillaxing with Tucker, friends, and family. I look forward in helping our little Huskies learn, play, and grow!
