Fifth Grade

Ms. Hempson

 Hi!  My name is Sara Hempson, and I have the honor of teaching fifth grade again this year.  I have been teaching for 12 years in New York and am very excited to continue helping students develop a lifelong passion for learning in Little River Elementary School!  I started my teaching career as a science specialist then spent the past 10 years teaching my favorite grade, fifth! I received my Bachelors Degree from SUNY Geneseo in Childhood Education with a concentration in Natural Science and my Masters in Literacy and Cognition from St. Joseph’s College in NY.  In my free time, I enjoy playing sports like basketball and soccer, reading, and spending time with my friends and family.
