Introducing... Mrs. Lynch
Ever since I was about 6 years old, I have known I wanted to be a teacher. After more than eighteen years in the classroom, I still truly love teaching and can't imagine doing anything else! This is my fourth year at Emerick Elementary and my fifth year working for Loudoun County Public Schools. I am originally from Roanoke, Virginia. I completed my initial teaching licensure and earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg. I taught in Stafford County and Roanoke County before moving to Loudoun. My teaching experience includes preschool, kindergarten, first grade, and second grade- and I have loved each one! Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music, reading, crafting, playing games, and learning new things. I love visiting new places or just being outside to enjoy nature. I do not like to cook and avoid it whenever I can! My husband Joe and I have four kids (one in college, two in high school and one in middle school) plus one silly old dog named Truman.
I am excited to be teaching 2nd grade
at Emerick again this year!
