Welcome! My name is Sarah Green, and I am thrilled to be a member of the Resource Team at Rosa Lee Carter.

This is my sixth year as a resource teacher at Rosa Lee Carter.  I am originally from a small town in Ontario, Canada, and I came to the United States for college. I received a Bachelor of Music in Music/Business from DePauw University, a Master of Arts in Arts Management from American University, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  I received a Graduate Certificate in Students with Disabilities who Access the General Curriculum from George Mason University.

Prior to working in the classroom, I was a stay-at-home mother.  My professional experiences also include fundraising and working in college administration.

My family has enjoyed living in Northern Virginia.  My daughter will be in tenth grade at Stone Bridge High School.  Outside of school, I like spending time with family and friends, travelling, reading, volunteering and cheering for my daughter at her swim meets.

I look forward to working with students, and helping them achieve their goals through engaging and fun activities.  It is important to have good parent/teacher communication, and I am here to support you and your family.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, comments or concerns.  I can be reached at sarah.green@lcps.org.
