The 13th Man. The 13th Man is a sports metaphor for someone who almost makes the team, but doesn't. This play on words is the inspiration for the creation of the 13th Man. The 13th Man serves as a vehicle to help these outstanding young men to reach their goals and aspirations as they become future leaders. Established in 2014, the 13th Man's is a nonprofit leadership development organization for young men ages 12-17. Our mission is to elevate the lives of young men through empowerment, development, and leadership engagements. Our goal is to create the next generation of well-rounded leaders that are civic and community minded, and academic focused. The organization accomplishes it goal by instilling leadership skills, providing mentoring, personal development, and ongoing enrichment. See attached flyer for more information.
