Mrs. Brennan

Mrs. Brennan has taught elementary school in Loudoun County Public Schools for over 25 years.  Originally from the Midwest, she grew up in Illinois, Minnesota, and North Dakota. She earned a Bachelors of Science degree from North Central University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She holds Masters degrees in Curriculum and Instruction as well as in Educational Leadership from George Mason University. Mrs. Brennan has been a National Board Certified Teacher since 1999.

Mrs. Brennan has taught kindergarten, first grade and third grade. She is now returning to fifth grade where she previously taught for 12 years. She is excited to teach fifth grade at Madison’s Trust Elementary and help prepare students for their transition to middle school. She will be working with Dr. Heckman and will focus on language arts. She believes that student motivation and active engagement are keys to student success. This will be an exciting year of personal growth for your child as they enter their last year of elementary school!

Mrs. Brennan has lived in Brambleton since 2002 and has watched the community grow around her. In her free time Mrs. Brennan enjoys reading and journaling.  She loves to spend time outdoors hiking and visiting national and state parks around our country.
