    • The faculty council consists of five people from the Freedom High School faculty who are appointed by the principal; the chapter lead adviser shall be the sixth, nonvoting, ex-officio member of the faculty council. All five members of the faculty council will review each candidate's submission individually, will deliberate, and will vote to determine admittance into Freedom's chapter of the NHS. Students are selected for membership with at least 3 "yes" votes. Candidates become members after being formally inducted.
