Educational Resource Teacher
I am excited to join the Bobcat Family!
I have a Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and started working with children directly after that. I worked as a crisis counselor in Fairfax County, and as a mental health counselor in Loudoun County. Shortly thereafter I was afforded the opportunity to work in the Special Education department here in Loudoun County, initially as an assistant in the self-contained Autism classroom, and then for 4 years in the self-contained 3-5 and K-2 classrooms with emotional and behavioral needs.
I found that I loved this work so much that I decided to get my Masters in Special Education through George Mason University. I live here, in Sterling, with my family and love the community!
I look forward to working with everyone in the Bobcat Family!
