Ms. Laurie Halloran

Laurie Halloran has been lighting up stages and venues in and around the Philadelphia area since she was small. An outgoing child, Laurie excelled in both sports and academics, but once the "bug" bit her, there was no going back. Laurie grew up training and performing at the nationally recognized and critically acclaimed Summer Stage program at the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center. At only 12 years old, Laurie had the honor of being chosen out of thousands of auditioners to perform solo for Philadelphia's Cardinal Anthony Bevilacqua at his 50th Jubilee Celebration.  She continued on to star in many of her high school productions, and furthered that success at the collegiate and professional level. She has performed the National Anthem at countless community, college, and professional sporting events, and has been featured in television ads, radio shows, and several high profile promotions. She has also performed professionally in New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Florida, and several other states. Laurie is featured on the original cast albums of Ramona Quimby and On The Brink of Tomorrow. Since graduating from St. Joseph's University in receipt of the Narins Award for Performing Arts (the highest honor in her field), she has been successfully pursuing both her career in Education and Directing, but also as a vocalist and actress. As a director, Ms. Halloran has been at the helm of over 30 community and school productions.

Ms. Halloran is a certified teacher in both New Jersey and Virginia and is qualified to teach K-12 English, K-12 Theatre/Technical Theatre, and K-5 General Education.

She currently resides in the Washington, DC area and serves as the Artistic Director and Theatre Arts Educator at Broad Run High School in Ashburn, VA.
