• Many athletic trainers in Loudoun County Public Schools offer students the opportunity to expand their knowledge of athletic training, sports medicine and general healthcare by organizing an Athletic Training Student Aide (ATSA) program. Student aides learn about the profession of athletic training, get practical healthcare experience, assist with Athletic Training Room, practice and competition duties and responsibilities. An ATSA program is a great way for students to gain knowledge of anatomy, physiology, rehabilitation, biomechanics, nutrition and other evidence-based applications of medicine.
