The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a great career exploration tool.  
    It includes test and activities that help you identify your interests and provide information
    about your Verbal, Math, and Science and Technical Skills.  The ASVAB test is FREE and
    administered locally at LCPS high schools.

    Test Dates and Locations:

    Nov 4, 2019 (student holiday) -  Heritage HS @ 9:00 am
    Dec 2, 2019 - John Champe HS @ 8:00 am
    Dec 4, 2019  - Rock Ridge HS @ 1:00 pm
    Jan 28, 2020 - Woodgrove HS @9:30 am (snow date Feb. 4)
    Mar 3, 2020 (student holiday) - Heritage HS @ 9:00 am
    Mar 3, 2020 (student holiday)- Loudoun Valley HS @ 8:30 am
    Apr 1, 2020 - John Champe HS @ 8:00 am

    The battery takes approximately three hours to complete, and test results are returned to schools in a few weeks.

    The Military uses students’ ASVAB scores to identify the occupations that best suit their abilities. Junior, senior and post-secondary school students can use their ASVAB scores for enlistment for up to two years after taking the test.
