• Mrs. O’Brien’s is so excited to begin her fifth year at Stone Hill Middle School! She is very much looking forward to working with all new students this year and getting to know their families! Along with being the lead counselor. Mrs. O’Brien will be the counselor for all Special Education students and English Language Learners (EL) students! It is going to be an exciting year working with students from all grade levels!


    Mrs. O’Brien wil be meeting with students individually, in groups and in classes to discuss academic, careerr and social-emotional issues. She will also be the 8th grade liaison for the Academies of Loudoun and Thomas Jefferson High School appllicants! Mrs. O’Brien will also be coordinating any Rising 9th Grade activities! 


    Mrs. O'Brien received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Following her undergraduate program, she received her Masters in School Counseling from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia. Now she is extremely happy to call Stone Hill Middle her home!


    Mrs. O'Brien and her husband welcomed their first daughter, Avery, in October.
