• Classroom Management

As a class our primary focus will be our standards and competencies, however, how we conduct ourselves and learning to work together are key aspects of becoming successful at life. Your appropriate behavior in class assures everyone of an environment conducive to learning.
We will recognize and celebrate positive behaviors throughout the semester. Some possible rewards for continuous appropriate behavior are: satisfaction of learning, improved skills, verbal praise, positive notes home, and special class activities.
While rewards are appropriate for positive behavior, there will also be consequences for inappropriate behavior and/or being tardy to class. (1) Verbal reminder or warning to student. (2) Parent contact. (3) Appropriate teacher assigned consequence and parent contact. (4) Referral to administration.
All students and parents agree to these standards at the beginning of our time together.
