Mr. Rogers

    Mr. Rogers has spent the last 20 years teaching Drama, Acting and Film both professionally and at the academic level. Before coming to Freedom, Mr. Rogers worked as a director, teacher and actor across the United States. He has directed over 75 productions during his prestigious theatre career. As an educator his accomplishments include Cappie Awards for Best Musical and Best Play, many VHSL District Championships and superior ratings at both VTA and VHSL theatre festivals.

    As a professional actor he has performed in 47 of the 50 United States and  has been seen on television in daytime soaps and the Emmy Award winning show Homicide; Life on the Streets. During his acting career he played some of the greatest roles ever written including Hamlet in Hamlet, Romeo in Romeo and Juliet.

    Mr. Rogers holds a masters degree from The University of Arizona, a bachelors degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and a certificate of  ”acting” from Oxford University in Great Britain. He has studied or worked with such accomplished actors as Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, Jeremy Irons, Rosemary Harris and Sir John Gielgud. When Mr. Rogers is not working in class (or the theatre) he takes on his favorite "role"  of DAD and husband to his wife and family.
