Karen Wolfson earned her BS and MS in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. While studying medium energy particle physics she discovered a love of teaching after managing a modern physics laboratory class. She earned her teaching license in Physics and Math through Worcester State University in Worcester, MA. She has also completed a gifted education endorsement through James Madison University and taught physics as affiliate faculty at George Mason University.
Mrs. Wolfson has been teaching physics since 2004, and joined Dominion High School in 2015.Mrs. Wolfson is passionate about physics and believes every student can come to a better understanding of physics through hands-on learning and real world experiences.
