    This is my 27th year teaching high school English and my 13th year teaching at Freedom. Before coming to Virginia in 2008, I taught in the Midwest--Nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri. Prior to my teaching career, I was the manager of a hometown newspaper in Bellevue, Nebraska.
