    Johanna Ayala-Walsh 
     
     
     
     
    Mrs. Walsh is the former director of a private school in South Florida, and she moved to the northern Virginia area in 2015 to pursue her first love: teaching English. She is currently in her 10th year of teaching. 
     
    With two advanced degrees in English, Mrs. Walsh is excited to drive her students towards the critical study of literature. Mrs. Walsh emphasizes activities that bring books to life, and she encourages students to apply their own significance to what they read in and outside of the classroom.
