I am excited to begin the 2023-2024 school year at Algonkian Elementary with your first grader!  This is my 8th year at Algonkian Elementary. I previously taught at Algonkian as a Resource Teacher and kindergarten teacher.  This is my 5th year teaching first grade! I received my Undergraduate degree in Elementary Education at Penn State and I have a Master's Degree in Special Education from Towson University.  In my free time, I enjoy reading, trips to Smith Mountain Lake, and spending time with my husband, son, and twin daughters.   I am so excited to work with your child this school year!
