•                                            EL Teacher

I am happy to be a part of the team and community at Rosa Lee Carter as an English Learner (EL) teacher. This is my 13th year teaching and my 4th year at Rosa Lee Carter. Previously, I worked in Fairfax County Public Schools, Loudoun County Public Schools, and I also work part time at Northern Virginia Community College. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University with an endorsement in English as a Second Language K-12. I have had many enriching experiences working with English learners at the elementary, middle school, high school, and post graduate/college level. I am always excited to see the growth, successes, and achievements of my students over time and know that with hard work and the appropriate support and learning environment, everything is possible.

I look forward to a fantastic school year!

    Thank you,
