Welcome to 3rd grade at Rosa Lee Carter Elementary! My name is Christine Crabb and it is my privilege to begin my 6th year teaching 3rd grade at RLC! I am originally from Kansas City, Missouri, but I lived all over the place growing up as the daughter of a Marine, including in Japan. I moved to Virginia from Ohio 6 years ago and my family and I love it here. I hold a Bachelor's degree from Benedictine College and a Master's degree from Kansas State University. I have 16 years of teaching experience at the elementary level in grades kindergarten through third grade and as an ELL teacher. I have taught 3rd grade the longest and it is truly my favorite!
I am also a wife and a mom to two boys, Noah and Eli, who both attended RLC but are now in high school and middle school, respectively. They both play travel soccer for Loudoun Soccer. I love to run and have run 2 marathons and 2 half-marathons. I enjoy searching for new and creative ways to keep my third graders excited about learning. I believe in finding the best way to teach each child and value your input in your child's education. Your communication is always welcome and greatly appreciated! We will have a terrific year in third grade!
