    Dear Families,
I hope you all had a fun and relaxing Winter Break!   The children were all smiles returning to school this week.  It was wonderful to see them all and hear about the fun they had during the holidays.  Incase of inclement weather, the snow policy for all ECSE classes is posted on the county web page under the parent tab.  When we have a 1 hour delay our class will be from 8:35-11:50.  When there is a 2 hour delay, the class will be from 9:35-12:50 (please note the change in dismissal time).  If there are any questions or concerns you can call or email me.

The class is beginning a month long unit on snow.  We will be using a snow theme, to learn our literacy and math skills, as well as science concepts!  The children will continue to work on the concepts of letter recognition, letter sound, rhyming and number sense.  On days that are above freezing we will attempt to go outside for gross motor time, so please make sure to send in warm coats and hats/gloves.  If possible, please label all winter clothing so that we can make sure it goes home with the right child.  Below is a list of our weekly books.
