Welcome to 4th Grade!
I'm thrilled to be working my tenth year of teaching at Sugarland Elementary School! I spent my elementary, middle, and high school years in Fairfax County before moving on to James Madison University (GO DUKES!). My aim as a teacher is to help mold students into responsible, moral citizens who share my love of learning!
This is sure to be a year full of fun and learning. Please don't hesitate to reach me with any questions, comments, and conversation starters!
Some fun facts about Mrs. Potocko:
- I'm musical! I enjoy playing the piano and guitar.
- I recently got married and you may know me by my former last name: Miller.
-My family is incredible! I have two loving parents who live in northern Virginia as well as an older brother who lives in Georgia.
-My faith is important to me! I am committed to my Christian faith and enjoy the community I find at church.
-Being active is important to me! You'll often find me in Sugarland's gym in the afternoons working out and getting sweaty.
-I absolutely have a sweet tooth! Doesn't everyone?
-I love to laugh with my students - even better if you bring jokes or riddles!
