Welcome to Legacy Elementary!
My name is Kirsten O'Hara and my husband and I live in Loudoun County with our two children, Matthew and Mackenzie. I have been serving students in Loudoun County for my entire 20-year career in education. It was my privilege to serve as the Assistant Principal of Round Hill Elementary for the past 15 years. During that time, I had the opportunity to foster a strong community of learners, establish many district initiatives, and facilitate the development of a computer science immersion school. Before going to Round Hill Elementary, I taught Special Education at Farmwell Station Middle School and then taught second, third and fifth grades at Sully Elementary.
Relationships with staff, students and families are very important to me and I look forward to building those with all of you in the weeks and months to come. I truly believe that we must work together to maintain an environment where all children can be successful. As I look to the future, I pledge to work alongside you and our staff to build a strong legacy of engaged learners that will be successful in their future endeavors.
