Mrs. Marissa Zuk

Welcome to Fourth Grade! I am so excited to have you in my class this year! I was born and raised in Southern California where the Pacific Ocean was my backyard. This will be my fourteenth year teaching and my tenth year teaching 4th grade in Loudoun County. Before beginning my teaching career in Virginia, I taught 5th grade and Kindergarten in Palos Verdes, California. I attended Santa Clara University where I received a BA in History and a minor in English. My teaching credential is from Chapman University with an ELL endorsement.

In my spare time, I love traveling with my husband and exploring new places both near and far. So far, I've been to 26 different countries. This summer, I was able to spend time with my family on the west coast and enjoy two weeks in the Mediterranean with my husband. Some of my other favorite things include taking walks with Mr. Zuk and our dog Patriot, reading, and boxing at my gym. I am looking forward to a great year at Pinebrook!
