• Farmwell Station's Awards and Recognitions
     
    Farmwell Station was named a School to Watch by the National Association for Middle School Reform in 2007. Farmwell was re-designated as a School to Watch in 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019 and 2022.
     
    In 2024, Farmwell was honored with the Association for Middle Level Education National School of Distinction Award. 
     
    In 2024,  Farmwell received the Virginia Naturally Year 1 School Award for its efforts to increase the environmental literacy of our students.
     
    In 2009, 2017 and 2018, Farmwell Station received the Virginia Board of Education Excellence Award.
     
    In 2017, Niche (an organization that publishes information about schools and districts to parents researching schools) ranked Farmwell Station 10th in the state of Virginia for middle schools. Niche ranks the top 100 elementary, middle, and high schools in each state by exploring SAT/ACT scores, student-teacher ratios, the quality of colleges students consider and reviews from parents and students.
     
    In April 2016, Farmwell was one of only eight schools in the State of Virginia, and one of two in Loudoun County, to receive the Governor's Award for Educational Excellence.
    Farmwell Station received the Virginia Distinguished Achievement Award every year from 2010-2015.
     
    In 2008, the Washington Post Magazine's Educational Review recognized Farmwell Station as one of 30 top-performing middle schools in the Washington region. 
     
    In 2008, Virginia governor Tim Kaine instituted the Governor's Award for Educational Excellence and Farmwell Station was one of 89 schools in Virginia to earn that prestigious designation.
