Professional BiographyLaura GrayReading Teacher
The 2018-2019 school year marks Ms. Gray's thirteenth year of teaching, and her sixth at PVHS.Ms. Gray began her teaching career as an English teacher with a bachelor’s degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 2006. After substitute teaching for a year, she taught English and reading for six years at Summit Academy in Herman, PA. While teaching at Summit, she went to school at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and attained her master's degree as a reading specialist. She received a Graduate Certificate in TESOL from The George Washington University.At PVHS, Ms. Gray is part of the reading team, and supports students with System 44, Read 180, and LLI interventions.Ms. Gray is a cosponsor of Park View's Gay-Straight Alliance.
Her favorite book is Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman (her favorite author).Need Help Writing?
