I teach Family Life Education at several different Loudoun County Middle Schools.  This will be my 15th year teaching in Loudoun County Public Schools.

I received my Bachelor's degree in Home Economics Education from Berry College in Rome, Georgia.  Fun Fact:  I earned the Home Economics Award at my college, my high school and my middle school!  I also earned my Master's Degree as a Reading Specialist from Shenandoah University.  As a licensed Reading Specialist, I am equipped to help students from age 4 to adult to increase their reading skills.

I worked for 3 years as a college campus counselor.  I've traveled to 49 states and several countries around the world.  Recently I went to Guatemala to teach young widows how to sew so that they can make an income to support their children.

I have been married to my husband for 30 years and we have 4 children!
