I teach Family Life Education at several different Loudoun County Middle Schools. This will be my 15th year teaching in Loudoun County Public Schools.
I received my Bachelor's degree in Home Economics Education from Berry College in Rome, Georgia. Fun Fact: I earned the Home Economics Award at my college, my high school and my middle school! I also earned my Master's Degree as a Reading Specialist from Shenandoah University. As a licensed Reading Specialist, I am equipped to help students from age 4 to adult to increase their reading skills.
I worked for 3 years as a college campus counselor. I've traveled to 49 states and several countries around the world. Recently I went to Guatemala to teach young widows how to sew so that they can make an income to support their children.
I have been married to my husband for 30 years and we have 4 children!Last Modified on September 4, 2014
