We conduct our 13-month, full-time cosmetology program in our upscale and modern salon, exposing students to hands-on, salon reality right from the start! The John Champe High School PTSA is proud to offer scholarships to graduating seniors planning to enter and attend a university, college or technical school in the fall following graduation. The PTSA Scholarship Review Committee will choose applicants based on eligibility requirements and completion of this application.
Members of the review committee shall remain anonymous. The committee will read and score all applications and essays resulting in the selection of two candidates as recipients of the John Champe High School Scholarships. Two scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $1,000 each.
The scholarship funds must be utilized for school expenses only. The PTSA will prepare scholarship checks written directly to the institution. If a recipient fail to complete his or her obligations as outlined, the unused scholarship allocations and/or forfeited funds will remain the property of the John Champe High School PTSA. Chairish is offering a scholarship designed to support students from diverse backgrounds and students who are majoring in design-related fields such as architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, and engineering fields. Each year, we will award up to $5,000 in college scholarships to two deserving students. Good luck! Application Deadline is June 30th.

This scholarship is open to any graduating JCHS student interested in a career in healthcare. Applicant must be bound to an instiute of higher learning to include college, university ortechnical school. Applicant must have a 3.0 minimum GPA (your guidance counselor must initial next to GPA). Applicant must have some community service/volunteer activities in the Healthcare field. Applicant must write an essay of at least 100 words (one page, double spaced, 12-point font). Describe your educational goals and tell why you have selected this field of study. Please submit your completed application and essay to Ms. Jeter in the Career Center. Mason Game & Technology Academy Next-Gen STEM classes
Mason Game & Technology Academy (MGTA) is proud to announce scholarships for middle and high school students!
Any middle or high school student who demonstrates financial need, is in good academic standing, and has an interest in technology and game design is eligible for this scholarship.
MGTA is part of the Virginia Serious Game Institute (VSGI) and the nationally acclaimed Mason Computer Game Design Program. MGTA offers students the rare opportunity to engage with university professors and advanced students through courses that prepare them for the STEM fields of the future.
Our classes include 3D Game Design & Development; 2D Digital Art; Introduction to Blockchain; VR Game Development; Music Production for Games; Programming courses (Java, C#, and Python); and more! You can see a full list of the courses eligible for this scholarship at mgta.gmu.edu/catalog.
