Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Linda Martell

I am excited to be part of the Loudoun County Public School System since 2013.

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, I attended State University of New York at Famingdale and Old Westbury.  I have an A.S. in Business Administration and a B.S. in Elementary Education.  While gaining classroom experience in Cape May, NJ, I taught for about 10 years as an elementary classroom teacher. It was great to live less than 10 miles from the beach!  During that time, received my MS in Computing Technology in Education from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida as an distance-learning student.  Teaching experiences also included teaching Introduction to Computers at Atlantic Cape Community College, in Cape May County, NJ.  Professional ambitions include a pursuit for completing my doctoral degree someday. I am two-thirds of the way there!  As for now, I am on a huge haitus.

On a personal note, I have two children; a daughter and a son in the Air Force. Support our troops! Rex, our golden retriever, is a big part of the family.   Since time in life goes so fast, you'll find me taking pictures on my free time.  I love the beach (four-wheelin' is a fave!), gardening,  and spending time with my family and friends.
